Here Here Aussie Supporters in ITALY, great job with the posts Lorraine. your posts have kept us up to date with whats been going on and given us all a chance to experience the trip to some extent. Thankyou.
A fantastic job by all the Aussies on this “Road To Rome” journey! Aussie Aussie Aussie Oi Oi Oi!
there will be many a laugh to be had retelling the stories (without the PG ratings) around the camps back home!
Now a chance to relax and let the big achievment soak in!
Ciao Roma!
From Brisbane to Longreach in far West Queensland we have followed your excellent blogs and appreciated the photos. Congratulations to all, competitors, support team, etc for a mighty effort and waving the Aussie flag!
I am a bit sad it is over! You guys with your expectations of what has happened must be feeling well what now?
I have really enjoyed the commentary that you have written Lorraine and you must be commended on keeping the good ship going.
What happens to the theory what happens in camp stays in camp or can you skip that and tell ALL!!!!
Remember you all have friends and family that are waiting at home to hear of your battles, your trials and your tribulations. We look forward on hearing about what you have learnt and where you feel we need to go to pick the sport up here to see growth.
Now the adventure draws to a close but it is never to be forgotten. To steal some driving parlance its only FORWARD from here.
Cheers Kate
What a fabulous journey you are all having and thank you so much for making us feel as if we are there with you all.
Australia has every reason to be proud of the drivers and grooms who represented our country at the World Championships. The Aussies who travelled so far to cheer our girls on were wonderful with their support.
We all learned so much and realise just how much more there is to learn if we are to compete on the world stage.
What a great effort!
I endorse all the comments above and must thank Lorraine for your excellent coverage. Much appreciated. Congratulations to all. You have “done us proud.” We look forward to hearing stories etc. when we see you again.
Well done. Have a safe trip home.
