  Our Dearest Ned,

  It is so good to see the pictures of you helping out with the horses and doing there shoes!!!!! I bet that is a great help to Mum!!!! Have been looking after your guinea pig Herman, he has been a little cold as it has been cold here but I gave him some straw that he could snuggle in to!!!! Lucky your little dog is doing great, she does miss you and can’t wait to see you!!! Angel is getting better, her wound is getting better and by the time that you get home it should all be healed!!! However she his eating like an elephant and Aunty Essie can’t keep up with the amount that she is eating, she is a bit like you!!!!
  Uncle Mark is busy looking after all the cats and dogs and can’t wait for you to get home to walk the dogs for him as you do such a great job at walking them up the road!!!

  Hi Ned, The pictures of you on the hay and scooting under the truck made me wonder if you are thinking of the Winter Olympics in the future. It looks like you have natural flair in that direction. Your position coming down from the hay bales looks like those downhill skiers when they hurtle over a bit of a bump… Keep up the good work! Katrina

  Hi Ned, It looks like you have a great array of animals to keep you busy. The only ferret we have had was caught in a feral cat trap we set up in the feed shed. (We caught the feral cat the next day – it was the wildest cat I’d ever seen!!) But it does sound like those English ferrets are efficient hunters. I hope you are eating some of those eggs you are collecting! Thinking of you (and your mum!), Katrina

  we loved seeing your pictures and it sure looks like you are having a great time. edward loved the photo of you on your scooter and the huge truck and your new car too:)
  we have been to melbourne and edward went to a footy match at the MCG and saw Carlton play, they lost:( we went to the museum to see the insects and bugs, they were unreal:) ben and edward are playing tennis in warrnambool this week:) and we have been riding motorbikes in the wet mud:) we will write again, love edward and sally hi elizabeth great pics, keep up the great work all the best for the rest!! sally

  Hi Ned,
  That pic of you performing a chin-up is impressive. You might need all your muscles if you need to help out changing any more truck tyres. But from the pic of you waving the Aussie flag it seems that your muscles are working pretty well. It sounds like you’ll have a few more flag waving jobs coming up!

  Thank you for letting us have news on your wow trip to Rome! Just read all the news from all of your other fan club members – terrific reading. Today is a lovely day here in Heywood and we are off to a Christmas party called “Christmas in July”. We will have lunch and then open some weird and whacky funny presents.
