    Hi,
A lovely surprise to find your blog. It’s great you are ‘set up’ and into it! I hope the horses continue to work out well for you all.

  • Bernadette Kelly

    Hi Michelle

Hope it’s all going well for you over there. The Caravan of Courage looks pretty good. When can we see some pics of Vladimir?

  • Vicky Lee

OMG! Sounds like you’ve had quite an ordeal!! I hope that you weren’t hurt in the accident and I’m sad to hear that Vladimir was hurt and now back to square one. Lets hope that the new horse works out and that it qualifies at Sandringham. We’ll all keep our fingers crossed. Keep your chins up. We’re all behind you 100%. Aussie, Aussie, Aussie, Oi, Oi, Oi!!

  • Diana Lawrence

I AM SO DELIGHTED TO HEAR THE NEWS AND SEE THE PHOTOS. I DID HAVE A GIGGLE AT ELIZABETH SINGING ,
“WE ‘RE ALL GOING ON A SUMMER HOLIDAY.”
THIS MUST BE ONE OF THE FEW SONGS SHE KNOWS AS SHE SANG IT IN CHORUS AT HER GRADE 4 SCHOOL CONCERT!!
    LOVE MUM XX

    Hi all,
It’s great that Diamond seems to be making up for lost time. Hiccups are good to look back on – although a bit of a challenge at the time. Sounds like Vin and Diamond enjoy a bit of a gallop! I hope you continue to miss the rain… (Sending your news on to Mum…she passes on her enthusiastic best wishes.) Take good care of yourselves.
    Katrina
p.s. Our washing machine has given up protesting about the odd bit of horse hair.

  • Bernadette Kelly

Hi Michelle Sorry to hear about Vladimir. Hope the new horse works out for you. We were all thinking of you at the trivia event last night. Caitlyn was a star, taking the mike to tell everyone how you are going over there.
Hope the UK summer is being kind to you.

  • ESTHER

Hi all, It’s Sunday in Oz and I’m wondering how Sunday at Sandringham went…all to plan I trust. I hope the horses kept listening in the dressage and that the obstacles and cones treated you well! Thinking of you. Katrina

  • Debra Hatton

Hi Guys, yes we are all waiting to hear the great news for Sandringham.
    Go Aussie’s Go

  • Vicky Lee

It’s so good to see that things are back on track for everyone. It’s a shame that you have to endure such shabby views whilst driving though!! Keep up the good work.

  • Liz Micoska

    Hi Liz
I’ve just been reading your blog, and even though I know nothing about horses and the events that you do, I’m in awe of all of you. Good luck to all of you “Aussie’s”. Hope Ned is having an adventure of a lifetime.

All the best for the comp this coming weekend…I hope it’s fun amid the challenges! Have a terrific time.

  • Christine and Mick

We are in south west QLD and have had no internet or mobile reception until now at the Quilpie library. However, we can’t remember the password to get into our email! It’s been great to see everything so green out here and water in Coopers Creek and lush vegetation all around. It’s good to see you have been keeping busy and having a good time.

  • Merryn Bojcun Albany WA

    Fabulous Blogs and photos Lorraine.

Hi Lorraine, Have had a lovely time catching up on your adventures. Wow! Living the dream – go girl! Thanks for sharing with us, will continue to keep an eye on you-best of luck.
P.S. Love the photo of you checking out the hats at the airport, hope they had a better selection than Darwin and you found one to suit you.

  • Vicky Lee

Hi Girls. OMG! What an adventure you’re having! What is it about those GPS things?? They just seem to love to take you down the steepest, most precarious goat tracks on the map. The same thing has happened to me twice whilst towing my float! Guaranteed to raise the blood pressure a few notches! It does, however, make for a good yarn afterwards though doesn’t it? Did Boyd have a laugh at your expense? I’m loving the blog Lorraine. I check every day and feel really excited when I see a new posting. Keep up the good work.

  • katrina Wattchow

    Hi,
The ‘banner’ picture at the top of the blog of Diamond in the m.o. is lovely…he looks like he’s concentrating – the three of you do!! After all the challenges of actually getting to Catton in ‘one piece’ you did a spectacular job. Sounds like a European version of a Melways might supercede a GPS? Thinking of you all.

  • Dawn Walter

Hi everyone. I am really enjoying reading about your adventures, and driving experiences.
    Soooo envious.
    Good luck and enjoy!

  • Vicky Lee

Good Luck to you all. Have a safe trip and enjoy every moment.

Well the moment is here, and enjoy every bit of it.
What can we say…….Go Aussie Go.
All the very best for our Australian Team.
    Look forward to Lorraine’s update.

  • katrina Wattchow

Hi all…In the home stretch now. I hope there aren’t too many hiccups – but you’ll find creative solutions if any appear! My thoughts keep drifting in your direction…

  • katrina Wattchow

What terrific horsemanship Michelle, to retire Diamond when he wasn’t quite right…especially as the pressure to finish must have been enormous… Well done Liz for making it around!
Huge achievement for both of you…

  • Meredith Harris

G’day Lorraine from cold wet Dookie. Hope you are looking forward to 10c. when you get back.
That is if you don’t disappear into one of Exells’ trucks and not find your way out! What a great experience you’ve had . See you soon..
    Meredith

Great to Joy Xanthos over there on the cheer squad too, looking great with her usual can.
